Model-Glue:Flex?

I figured I'd better blog this while I had some downtime at the cf.objective conference. In my Model-Glue session today, I previewed an experimental AS3 Model-Glue implementation of Model-Glue, providing a lighter weight / looser / more implicit architectural framework in comparison to something like Cairngorm.

There's no docs, I've written one sample app, and I'm not sure this'll ever be an 'official' Model-Glue thing, but I'd like to ask if anyone would be interested in taking a look: leave a comment and I'll send out a zip when it's ready...I need to do an FDS example and a Quickstart.

Yes, definitely interested. Already using Model-Glue a lot and migrating some apps to Flex.

I'd love to look at this. I always thought Cairngorm was a little too heavy/verbose for me.

Joe showed me a little of this today and I would use it for any Flex app I wanted to build rather than Cairngorm. It's *extremely* cool!!

I sure hope this does become an official Model-Glue project!!

I would love to see this! Cairngorm is to verbose IMHO. I use some parts of Cairngorm but strip out the others.

Teh main group of Flex developers at my work place have an extreme prejudice against Cairngorm. I would love to give them another framework example to try.

Hey Joe. I'd definitely love to take a look. We use our own framework internally at Cynergy that's much lighter than Cairngorm. Great stuff.

Seems like there's some demand :)

I'm circulating a few private copies now to gather some thoughts, and I'm incorporating some feedback (will blog on this separately)...there's a few bits I'd like to smooth out before it's public, but I think it'll be worth the wait.

I've just started looking at Cairngorm, its ok<, but I'd love to look at MG for Flex.

Looks great to me. I even created my first Model-Glue:Flex app, http://www.noofusion.com. Basic but it worked without too much headache. I think you should definitely roll with it.
