Marginally business related: I won't be doing any work in the month of December (2007) because my wife will be giving birth to our first child, who I learned today will be a girl!

Outstanding! Congratulations, that's great news. From the father of a girl (Savannah - age 5), get ready. Life will be different. I wouldn't turn the clock back for anything though. Blessings on you and yours.

Hey Joe, Congratulations!

Congratulations! At some point, you'll want to think about celebrating her party at a later date, since her birthday will fall so close to Christmas.

My wife and I just had our first (boy - Brayden - born 3/29). Life has not changed much... yet. We have been committed to not using our baby as an excuse for being lazy and no longer hanging out with our friends. I'm sure it will change, but so far life is the same, except even more meaningful!
