jComponents 1.0 Released!

My semi-popular custom tags providing Tab, Tree, Accordian (Outlook Bar), and Container controls have just hit 1.0. With client-side integration through JavaScript, it's an exciting milestone over the previous public release. See them in action here.

4. Improved Cross-Browser support (I believe they're almost identical in Moz and IE now!)

Great tags that will save me from going cross-eyed working with the numerous js files it would take to accomplish these effect otherwise. Not sure if you were aware that the jContainer has an object error. Anyways, thanks for making these available and free at that!

Thanks Rich, and all the others who noticed the bugs on the container demo and accordianPane itself. I've patched them, and if you re-download, you'll get the newest versions.

you did it. I like your customtags, a lot.

When I click to see the components in action I receive a 404 error, must be something with the new server switch.

Any chance you could add in an option (maybe open="false") to set the default view of the cf_jTab (or any of components) to closed?

Regardless, good work on this component. I like it.

I have started to use jComponents in a lot of my apps. Very nice!!!

One feature request, can you check to see if a user has JavaScript disabled and open, say, all accordian panes, or containers?

Just a thought.

JavaScript's sort of a prerequisite for using the components at all. I'll leave it up to people using them to detect and handle accordingly...

Just a thought...what if the default was to open them, and you used JS to close them.

This way if JS is not enabled, all containers, accordian panes will be opened. :-)
